The ComfoAir Q model series is equipped with automatic bypass control.
Its intelligent solution and seasonal recognition system are based on an average outdoor temperature reading (RMOT).
For explanation:
15°C does not always mean the same 15°C. For example: Two days ago was outdoor temperature 11°C, yesterday was outdoor temperature 10 °C and today is outdoor temperature 15°C and it feels warm. Two days ago was outdoor temperature 2 days ago 19°C, yesterday was outdoor temperature 19°C, today is outdoor temperature 15°C and it feels cold.
The comfortable temperature for people does not depend on the actual outdoor temperature but on the changing average reading of the external temperature for the last five (5) days.
Therefore, a warm / cold day has no direct impact on the comfort temperature.
The device can activate a bypass if the following conditions are met:
- The outside air must be colder than the exhaust air from the building
and
- the air exctract from the building (ETA) must be warmer than the set comfort temperature
and
- the device must be in cooling mode (Current RMOT over the cooling limit RMOT)
and
- the incoming air must always be 2°C higher than the dew point of the exhaust air to prevent condensation.
The user can adjust the bypass control by using the temperature profile.
